I just got in the Fox Farm trio big bloom tiger bloom and the grow big or whatever it’s called . I haven’t fed them at all yet ! 6 weeks in on one and around 4 on the other. Does anyone think I should try to do a feeding and see what happens or just leave it along just straight water this week or what? All of my grows every season have FAILED either snails eat them to pieces, I burn them, or they don’t get enough sun and get stunted ! Thinking about going back to indoors
Wow ......... overthinking
WAAAAYYYYY TOO MUCH.
Listen my man , it’s a plant . Plants need food , light , medium and water. You are torturing the poor things with inconsistent and overhandling their growth. Your this “ whatever “ and that “ whatever you all it “ way of thinking is what’s
REALLY killing your grows. 100% grower problem.
Keep shit simple ..... here’s how .
Get some good bag soil ( not Miracle ) / check local nursery or big box store.
( FFOF / SUNSHINE #4 / DR. EARTH potting soil / Kellogg garden soil / etc. )
“ dampen “ soil .... plant seed.
Go have a beer and do
nothing for a couple of weeks ..... just water “ when needed “ (
lightly since they will be young ) , even a misting once in awhile . GOOD SOIL will carry initial growth without
any added Nutes.
About week 3 you can introduce the fox farms feed ( grow big / big bloom only ) - a teaspoon of each in a gallon of water is a good start. Grow big is concentrated - too much and it burns . Big Bloom is organic and works the best out of the three . Tiger is for flowering.
Neem / clove / and similar ( oil ) will burn the fuck out of plants that get it in DIRECT SUN OR LIGHT. And would be better suited at dark periods ( as needed ) . Capt. Jacks bug brew ( spinosad ) works great and will not burn as the other products would.
If you know there is a heavy mite issue indoors ..... then purge your grows and concentrate on insect control instead. No amount of spraying will control an out of control environment with mites.
