Alright, planted the seed in the soil this morning and put it under my lights. Got 'em in aluminum turkey trays 'cause I had no plates big enough lol,

I'll get some pics up later today.

So I think I planted it too deep ,

Should I dig it up tonight and try to bring it closer? It's about to my second knuckle but I'm reading now iyou're only supposed to do up to your first. You can never find these answers when you're looking for them man.

2 knuckles is a fair way down man, were the seeds popped (tap root) before you planted them? If not it shouldn't do too much damage digging them up...

I got to them before they rooted up and dropped the shell though, I think we're good. Better news is my friend just donated me a plant that needs a little THC.

What should I do with that guy that's still in the rockwool? Pull him out?
The bunk seed is still up but looks a little worse, the cotlyedon that was good turned brown and it's kind of crawling down the stem a bit. No root action on any of them yet.
The other one looks like it hasn't done anything since I put it in the rockwool.

The only happy seed I have is a bag seed of GSC LOL.

Both of my autoflowers look like that after re-rooting them. I really hope they recover.

Gonna transfer the plant my friend gave me into a 5 gallon Roots Organic filled smart pot today.

Think those autos are gonna make it DN?

Hello my brother with the girl that's not looking the best sometimes it's best to just let them do there thing believe me sometimes the runts are the best of them all what the lack in veg they surely make up for in flower so just keep feeding PH water till they recover remember the seed holds the nutrients to keep a baby going for the first month of growth yes if you are going in a medium that is lacking any food at all you will need to supplement it but only once sign of deficiency show once you skill in growing improve your skills of noticing deficiency will become better this is a skill that takes time to build and as a new growing it's all about learning you will deal with a lot of things ( Key Note Never let any one in your grow area anything that enters your grow room from the outside should be kept outside of it isolated till if it deemed safe to enter things like a lot but if you want a healthy garden it's best)

everything from the outside gifted clones plants etc anything is danger and can effect your grow room do not take this lightly being over protective of your grow room will give it safe from the outside world i might seem like i em being over dramatic but it's better to be save then sorry yes it's good to learn as a grower and have to deal with things like spider mite bugs and all that fun stuff yes it makes you better and you know what to look for but if you keep your shit sealed and tight you don't need to deal with that stress sorry to go on brother but i just want things to go well for your and i want your first run to be run growing is a skill you get better every time like anything you do over and over again so stick at it and before you know it you will be teaching others and shearing your skills like a good grower should sorry to do a bit post my grammar is shit i do my best you know we are all hear to help you do keep up the good work

Highly recommend transplanting that girl in the pot in to a bigger pot and super cropping her and giving her a good topping season

Fuck I love having you guys here lol, makes me breathe a lot easier. I'm just used to shrooms where I can spot a problem a mile away. I take care of a few plants around my house so I kind of get the jist of growing but when you're growing weed it's like "FUCK, I WANT YOU TO COME OUT SO GOOD." that I think you end up overdoing it lol.

Seriously, thanks everyone who's tuned in. I'm gonna pack a bowl and wait it out. I think they'll all be fine honestly.

With that guy stuck in the rockwool I should just let him do his thing too?

Also I took out his plant, you're right, he actually gave me a clipping of some of the weed this plant has grown and I found a seed in it, who knows from what but I'm not taking any chances lol, I'll isolate it for now.

Yeah that's the thing when you first start growing and watching everyone else growing you just want to pull of a great grow and over caring is the thing that puts most off remember it's a (WEED) water food and your done that's it no rocket science environment is the key keep your temps in tune and your in line for a great harvest

Seedlings to be honest can be a pain in the ass they all do there own thing if your really stressing about the girl that's not doing anything you can carefully part the rockwool and put in directly in to the medium and see if she turns around for the better i have seeds pop and show there taproot then do sweet F all
but now that i am just soaking for 24/48 hours in water then planting in to there final medium are doing better

Roots take sometimes in seedlings if should be in a week some take a couple of weeks but if they crack the medium your almost 90% sure they are going to be fine all the girls i have had grow out of the medium have always done well even the runts also if you want wait for the rights to root in the small cubes then more them up to the next size if you want but i think once you see roots your fine to plant in to the soil just remember don't keep the rockwool to wet it will slow things down

Was he running other strains or just the one..... ?

A few other strains, some blueberry, cinderella 99 and something Grapefruit. All sounded like stable genetics though but he also just kind of neglects them I think :/, his plants are never more then 2 feet tall and they're always root bound (At least the ones I've seen)

Yeah just keep a close eye on that girl you got i am sure you will be fine i am sure the last thing he wants to do is stuff your first run up you can never go wrong from starting from seed can you give me a full shot of your grow tent i love to see how your lighting and fans are set up when you have the time no rush

Will do! Heading to the hydro store now to pick up soil for that transfer, maybe I'll do a soil run before DWC with all these problems lol.

We'll see, right now I have no fans though but a T5 8 bulb put a good bit of distance away. Gonna try to snag a small clip fan today. Teps are about 70-85 ish. I've only seen 85 once but I'm pretty sure that's too high.

I would recommend trying Coco i started with it and it was amazing hydro growth rates and the buffer you need just in case shit hits the runs if you start with DWC your just asking for trouble nice 70/30 Coco/Perlite and you will be fine run to waste always checking your run off for PH and EC and you will be on the road to success

80% of the time it's cheaper to run your lights at night so try that good thing is during the day the temps to drop so much so you can stop the plants from doing from the 70 zone to the mid 50 zone which is going to slow things down anymore then 10-15 during lights out is going to slow growth down
