Gyo's DWC Experiment

Hey Gyo, is there anyway you could attach some ducting to your intake fan and run it either outside or into a cooler area so you can get cooler air into the room? Or make up a DIY air con unit that you can add ice too and duct it to the intake fan? Sorry man, don't have many ideas lol

I cracked a window and extended the ducting to the window ver by the veg tent and weighted it down to hold it still.

its a strong gust of air but I'm sure some of it is getting lost in translation but I checked my grow room at abou 5 am after it was run for 7 hours and it was a chilly 68 in the room and 77 in he grow tent!

I'm probably going to get an ac/dehumidifier standing unit and do SOG instead of rdwc. SOG looks fun, quick and painless lol

It's a pretty heft investment compared to my original idea but I think it'll make my life a lot easier and I'd be harvesting more. Next time I post will be budshots. I just saw crystals on me Dark Star

Going Ebb and Flow instead of Drip 'cause Ebb and Flow is 100x easier and doesn't require so much cutting lol. Going to the hydro store today to pick up more coco and check out the 4x4 flood table they have.

So what do you guys think of Dyna-gro vs Advanced Nutrients? I know you did the research already Homebrewer but I just wanted you to re-iterate it because I did my own research and came to the same conclusion but according to @Enigmatic Ways I'm following my white massas .

i tried to tell him I learned more from watching the Dyna-Gro guy talk about what's really inside cannabis leaves on the DudeGrow Show then I learned on the whole AN site and he's still arguing with me

Anyone explain to me why AN > Dyna-Gro and that weed is an exotic plant that needs its own line of nutrients?

ANY plant needs micro and macro nutes. that's as simple as it gets.

Not to him lol, to him if you're not using AN you're depraving your babies. So anyone not using AN is sub-par lol. 'Cause I use Dyna-Gro and it works with great results, because weed is not an exotic plant, I'm not unleashing the full potential.

I mean how could I? Dyna-Gro doesn't have a bottle labeled Overdrive so how would I overdrive my bud right? Sarcasm intended LOL.

i use foliage pro for veg and then Lucas formula for bloom. I heard AN is coming out with a new product: it's called The Shizzle. it's revolutionary!!!! gotta have it!!!!

Funny I bought Grow once because I didn't trust myself but now I use Foliage Pro for all of my bigger plants but use Grow for my first few feedings because of the lower N ratio, less likely to burn IME. The few I did feed with FP burned at the tips but the Grow did just fine. My larger plants take less FP then they do Grow though so I use FP for them to save a little bit of money, normally .5-1.25 ml a watering every time just to keep them green all through.

If I see that at 1.25 they're green and healthy I try to cut back until I see the first signs of yellowing. It's been a great learning experience actually, I have 0 complaints about dyna-gro. If I use to much it burns the plants and if I use to little they need more, just like anything else.

And I'm sure @Enigmatic Ways is gonna have something to say about the Lucas Formula

In the future I won't buy grow and just learn FP better but for now it puts the Grow bottle to use

the guy posted a video of him cramming weed into a jar, in that video, he made sure to line up his sneakers so everyone could see them.

Nutes are nutes whether its AN, Dyna Grow, Cyco etc they all have pretty much the same stuff in them especially if they are synthetic but you just have to find works best for you. When it comes to synthetic nutes I like Cyco. Organic nutes I like Nectar For The Gods

I wasn't trying to argue that grams per watt meant anything, expecially when you went to the superior way of calculating which is what I use, I just thought that you would be more familiar with the gram per watt....But like I told you everything including electricity nutrients gas to go get our RO water ect. is all calculated in my grow, and it only cost me $1.60 for every gram I produce!

Yes I get the analogies....Like I said these are secrets so they will never be posted publicly to a site like that but they still give you little bits of the truth....
