How much water should I expect to use each watering if my plants are a month old, 4 inches tall in 8 inch pots with a temperature of about 82 degrees?

Well in a 1 gallon grow bag I water between 4-8 cups depending on how established the root system is. Let them dry out a bit in between watering and feedings. It's all an expierence.

You sound like 4-5 cups would be plenty for now.

That will depend on your soil composition (dense or fluffy), and humidity levels in your room. Never go by a set schedule, but rather what the plant needs. As they get bigger, you will have to water more often and more in volume. Start using the "weigh the pot" method. You don't literally have to use scales, but when the pot feels light - water. When the pot feels heavy (water saturation) don't water. Simple.

The humidity is at about 40%.. Went and bought a moisture meter today though so hopefully that works out well..
