H202 Solution

So I am currently growing in a 7 gallon DWC setup and I've noticed white mold growing on my rockwool because I hadn't covered it up. It is furry and when I pour water on it, it continues to remain white so I'm pretty confident that it isn't just salt deposits.

Anyways I've been trying to do some research on how to get rid of it and a lot of people seem to think that a H202 solution works well. I plan on spraying the effected area with a spray bottle and then to also add some H202 to my reservoir as well.

So far what I've gathered is most people use a 35% solution. I however only have a 3% solution atm. A general approximization of what I've researched is for 5ml/5gallons for the 35% solution.

So I'm curious is to how much I would have to add of the 3% solution for my 8oz spray bottle and for my 7 gallon resevoir. Any help would be appreciated

How much 3% H2O2 you should use add depends on how often you want to add it.

If you want to add H2O2 on a daily basis then 5ml per gallon = 35ml of 3% H2O2 for your res daily would be a good amount.
If you want to add it say 3 times a week then use 10ml per gallon = 70ml of 3% H2O2 for your res.

For your 8oz spray bottle add about 2ml of 3% H2O2 for misting.

I have the same size res and add 3% at 1/3 cup every other day. Do that and I don't think you'll need to spray.

You would want to add 12mL of 3% per gallon, so with 7 gallons you'd want 84mL. I'd try to spray the rockwool with just 3% probably. You shouldn't need to spray enough to really hurt anything.
