It's typical of the democrat party right now.

They aren't listening to the ppl on a spectrum of issues. They will pay the price. Soon.

But you just said
Bush didn't govern by poll, exactly what was needed.
It's bad for dems not to listen to the people; however, it's good for the reps not to listen to the people?

I'm calling you out so maybe you will open your eyes a little bit. ;)

bush had an 80% approval rating when we invaded iraq

the polls going down were directly related to the coordinated media effort to make bush look bad to the point where it turned into derangment syndrome

it actually hurt our country in the process and allowed more of our soldiers to get killed than should have

and then eroded the polls, so thats why we said they should be ignored

war is hard and its understandable people would not like it, but allass its a necessary thing

and the polls were greatly skewd due to 80% scewed news coverage

but now even with this scewed news coverage the polls are like this for obama!!!

imagine how low his approval would be if he had to contend with a rabidly hostile news media like bush did!!!:blsmoke:

his poll numbers would be in the shitter way more than now if he had it like bush got it:-|

its big problemo for our chief when the low polls are not about war but his dumbass spending us into a shit hole

obama has made a huge mistake,

he should have sat pretty his first year and focused only reconciliation of the country and on rebounding the economy without doing his crazy spending and partisan shit right off the bat

and then try to ram through crap and trade and then try to ram through huge healthcare bill in the middle of the worst recession since the depression

then what he should have done once he had our confirmed "ok seems like this guy is legit" "hes acting fiscally responsible" seems he is the president of all americans even tho he democrat pushing for demo agenda

and after the eyes trust him and begin to look away at other things as the economy improved he could have snuck his garbage in here and there without ruffling so many feathers and causing a mini rebellion

hes a tactless clown. he has no idea how manipulate properly, hes a real ham handed politician surprisingly.

and on top of all this his admin acts as a bully against anyone or anything that disagrees with them

i dont know about you but i dont take kindly to threats or antimiadation

and neither do the democrats, independents, and republicans in congress

and neither does fox news and the american people and the so called

"nazis in the tea parties"

he needs to take his green ears back to chi town

im an idiot and could have advised him better on his public relations:blsmoke:

The first ... national security is the FIRST and FOREMOST job of the President.

The second is internal, and while one must not be GOVERNED by polls ( ala Clinton), one must pay attention to them and LISTEN.

Obama is being governed ... by Congress. If he wishes to survive politically, he is going to have to find his own personal center as Bush did.

So far, there's no indication he has a personal center.

MAKE BUSH LOOK BAD?!
PATRIOT ACT?!
seriously?! it was all the media's fault Bush spent more days on vacation than any other president in history? it's the medias fault he was a complete bafoon and made up words in damn near every speech? it's the medias fault that his complete oversight of government financial regulations led to a recession? it's the medias fault the patriot act made it possible for the government to burst into ANY home at ANY time because they "MIGHT" be a terrorist??

no my friend, the media did nothing but treat Bush honestly, and portray as close to the facts as they could. if Bush didn't want to look like a nimrod on the 10'o'clock news HE should have wised up, not the media!!

2) bad speaker correct on that one. OMG STOP THE PRESSES

3) complete oversight of government financial regulations led to a recession? clinton was responsible for the houseing crisis policies with the republican congress, once again read up

4) patriot act has helped thwart several terrorist attacks on the us homland includeding an anthrax attack on a stadium in Cali, once again read up and dig hard cuz the media did not report any of this except in very few places

now this one I dont even know how you could type that one with a straight face but i bet you didnt have a straight face when you typed it:mrgreen:

the media did nothing but treat Bush honestly, and portray as close to the facts as they could.

:o

can we say Mr. Bush anyone?

i want you to go back at tell me why all the media called him Mr. Bush

Instead of Mr. President, president bush or "The President"

And now I want you to look at today when they talk about obama

why do they call him President Obama, or Mr. President or the President

how come they never ever called him Mr. Obama while hes been president but they called bush, Mr. Bush the whole time????

im wondering are you part of the trickery or part of the tricked?

as to that long video you posted that has every comment out of context and picked and chosen over years of coverage

is another lie you are trying to pass off.

can you advise me again why the main stream media has basically ignoreed the climate change scandel that has broken latly?

Iraq was all about the $. Besides... i love how we break international law, yet we attack others for breaking it. ohhhh the hypocrisy.

We are in 135 countries around the world... and we spend waaay more money on military each year than anybody else.

If you guys are scared... i feel sorry for you. Maybe we should just blow up the entire middle east... kill'em all. Would that help out national security?

Bush and Obama are both dumb asses! Am I the only one that can realize this? Libs and Reps= Fuck tards

Can't we all just get along!? Almost all politicians these days are self serving, crooked, slimy mofos. I think it's important to keep an open mind here though. The partisan bickering keeps us distracted while the crooked politicians are making backroom deals and selling their souls for their share of the pie. It's human nature and it won't change anytime soon. I'm sure most of the slimeballs in washington swore they would never become the corportate sock puppets they are today. Give a man a little power and see how quickly it corrupts his soul. :peace:

does a quote matter if its out of context if in the middle of an interview, the interviewer shouts "CAN WE UNPLUG HIS MICROPHONE?!" how is that for fair and balanced.

what about the memos from FOX News CEO Roger Alies, specifically telling the staff to target certain issues, NOT STORIES just opinions about public figures. He didn't say "cover this story" he cleary said "push this agenda, this priority #1"

You get your news from FOX News  you think they're not opinionated

Don't watch mainstream media. It's all biased. bbc is better... not good... but better.

Even A-rod has a hitting coach. It's best to look from the outside-in to see mistakes.

I have to disagree. I think to have any chance at getting a well rounded view you should watch as many different media outlets as possible. It's important to sift through the bullshit to get at the facts. Compare notes so to speak.:blsmoke:

When it comes to military spending, one must consider that China, Russia, heck everyone else does not have as large a military footprint as we do.
China's spending is more concentrated and directed , for now, regionally.

If the USA only maintained a military presence around it's own borders for the most part, you would see that number drop drastically.

Of course, there would instantly be a race to take our position if we retract. It's a competition, and the one on top, prospers most, and everyone knows it, and wants it.

That's fine provided you weight the value of what you're looking at and hearing properly. Mainstream media will harp and harp and harp on something as if it were true and you may only see one thing on the BBC or PBS that actually tells the truth. You shouldn't count that as 10 to 1 if you watched 10 mainstream things and one other.

Those 10 are all working as 1 and if you look closer they can't really speak the truth anyway because they are controlled by their advertisers. In reality the score would be 1 questionable source (made up of the 10 mainstream things) versus 1 valuable one.

Even when you think no I see two very different views on mainstream that's not really true, you are seeing the bullshit pulled over your eyes to blind you from the truth more often than not.

In the Uk the main 3 channels BBC1, ITV1 and Channel 4 all have there main news broadcast at different times so as not too clash BBC1=6pm=slightly consevative mainstream views presented. ITV1=6:30pm=Sensationalist nonsense most of the time
Channel 4=7pm=Apolitical direct news broadcasting, similar to Reuters.
The point? All mainstream journalism has a stance and unless you can look from an objective position you will never realise this, let alone agree. Most people are drawn to people/things/viewpoints that are similar to their own, not the other way round. If you like a News channel it is because it portrays YOUR views, so therefore you advocate them as the truth tellers. OPEN YOUR EYES!!! (0)¬(0)
