Ill be the first to admit that i didnt know that...i mean i know low/high ph produces lock outs, but i didnt know the specific ones....learn something new everyday...ganja

I like to keep mine around 5.5. If it drops to below 5 or rises over 6, growth slows enough that you can actually tell.

Yes, I agree to add food. I don't think you really need a flush between vegg and flower, because vegging is the plant
setting itself up for flower. It will want all those nutrients stored in every leaf on the plant.
My advice is to try to keep the plant green and healthy throughout the whole grow, except last 2-3 weeks of flower.
If the plant is using nutrients from its leaves, it means it's not getting it from the res.
If you feed it what it wants and needs, then the last few weeks when your flushing it will have nice healthy leaves to eat from.
So much to say, so little time. No wonder there are so many books on marijuana lmao!

Hey guys just got home today, and have to say thank you all for helping my girlfriend out through these two weeks in keeping our plants alive and healthy. Truly appreciated. Flush did go on alot longer than i had thought/planned, and will be picking up a new pH meter right away (water seeped through the seal i found out) but getting them back on track to flip our lights.

And to answer your question Flo on what strains- we are actually in the middle of variety grow at the moment (another reason why i was worried if she had issues with the plants suddenly needing diff levels while i was gone) we have 1 Jilly Bean, 1 Agent Orange (both TGA), 2 Hash plant, 1 Grand daddy purps, and 1 ISS. They are all loving the same nute levels to make my life easy.

So again thanks guys maybe this helped spark an interest in her getting her hands dirty in the garden with me?

As far as jilly goes she is doublethe size of any of our other plants, responds to training amazingly well and THRIVES in dwc. + Rep for flo, ganja, and pwizzle for the help while I was mia now upped the nutes to where I want they are drinking slot and time to flip the lights and get to the most exciting part. Will update with pics in a day or two

So here is an update from last night.

PPM started at 1200 on the 28th and so far each plant has been drinking about a gallon or so a day and ppms have lowered to about 700 so they are eating like champs already. Only going to keep tucking under the screen for another 2 days probably and then will let them get vertical but in the end am playin it by ear based on what they are telling me. pH started at 5.5and has now drifted up to about 6.1 so will add some water today and drop the pH level. photos are from last night before lights out.

couple top shots, couple underneath, the ones through the magnifying glass you may not be able to see but i was getting excited cuz overnight where there was one pistil has turned into about 4 and are already turning white form their green state, and then theres my girlfriend saying thank you guys!
