Does hair color matter at all like you dont want white hairs you want to wait for them to change to orange or w.e just curious cuz i cant tell about the tricomes because of my eyesight just wanna no when to switch to 72hrs darkness but im only at day 35 flower

this is from fdd's harvet tutorial, let me know if it helps or not.

we will start with ripeness. most people say to check your trichromes with 30X magnification. i have other ways. when buds are done they look "done". the appearance of the bud changes. the leaves start to hook upwards and become hard and crispy. the calyxes will swell and the hairs will turn brown. you can see a golden tinge to the bud leaves. this is the amber crystals. they start to turn amber on the leaves first.

Hairs don't mean anything. Some strains continue to push out hairs until the end. Get a cheap microscope like 60x-100x at radio shack and check your resin glands. Once your trics start turning amber your entering the harvest window unless you like a more up high then chop em' while most are clear with some cloudy. But if your only at day 35 I'd say you still have a while.

i have one of those scopes but i injuried my eyes in iraq cant really c thru that tiny hole due to i already have tunnel vision but ya my plant deff looks like the first set of pics the leaves are hookin upward but theres still like all white hairs and about 2% orange only at day 35 still have about 3.5wks untill the website says there done meaning there harvest time period.

8 or 9 weeks total. As you are already through week 5(35 days) you have 3-4 more to go. Keep doin what you are doin and in a week or so start your flush and you will be on the home stretch. Good luck man!

You can tell the marijuanna gets genereally darker, some leafs start turning browish and the overall bud looks extremely dense. You need a microscope when you want to harvest to chck the crystals, depending on your liking.

willy wortles my dream place i told him if someone comes with ashes let me be spread all over his lawn lol... but on the real i have it in my will and everythin when im creminated i want to b put in the canals in amsterdam best trips ever
