Hi I am a first timer, I have 4 females in their 3rd week of flowering. 3 plants are budding nicely with lots of white hairs all over the tops, the fourth is flowering at the same rate as the others but it is HAIRLESS!! Can anyone tell me why?

They are all growing in the exact same conditions.

Looks female to me.

Have you been touching the buds to smell them?

This can cause pistil die back.

Or it could be underfed and trying to finish quickly before it dies from lack if nutrition.

Couple of things, heat can and will make the hairs nearly non existent. Make sure to check using the palm method at least to confirm your lights r not to close.

We had alot of rain over a couple week period, and my humidity went thru the roof. I wanted a cheap, temporary fix, so I put a bucket of damprid just outside my grow room (next to my intake). After a couple of days I noticed that the flowers closest to the intake had no hairs. I put 2 &2 together and quickly removed the damprid. I cut open the top layer to find it used calcium chloride flakes to absorb moisture, well they also caused a "chemical burn" on, just a few, lower flowers.

My 2 cents.... (oh, and keep the change!)

I don't touch them at all, they don't have much smell yet. I think your malnutrition suggestion might sound about right. They are all the same Bubblelicious strain. Grown under LED, so I know light heat is not a problem. Humidity is about 65-70% Temp is a steady 80 degrees.

Thanks for everyones info.
