some people saying there me be half million dead you think thats true?

thats 5% of the countrys population

"Parliament has collapsed. The tax office has collapsed. Schools have collapsed. Hospitals have collapsed," Preval told the Miami Herald. "There are a lot of schools that have a lot of dead people in them."
Even the main prison in the capital fell down, "and there are reports of escaped inmates," U.N. humanitarian spokeswoman Elisabeth Byrs said in Geneva.
The head of the U.N. peacekeeping mission was missing and the Roman Catholic archbishop of Port-au-Prince was dead. "The cathedral, the archbishop's office, all the big churches, the seminaries have been reduced to rubble," Archbishop Bernardito Auza, the apostolic envoy to Haiti, told the Vatican news agency FIDES

Gods a joke, Haiti is one of the most fervently catholic nations in the world who have stuck with god through out thier poverty and now he would allow such a thing to befall them

either he doesnt exist or hes really the devil pretending to be god

I'm used to that thought... every day, at least a few times a day, I always think about those who are in situations of death. From the prisoner in North Korea, to the guy in Afghanistan who just got a hole blown through him... from the starving child laying in the humid, hot, stale aired hospital in Sudan or Ethiopia, or the poor child who's being held captive in some deranged pedophile's basement. It's a sad, scary world for a lot of people.

Luckily I can emotionally detach myself from most of those thoughts I have, or else I'd be a sad wreck. But I think it good of me to keep those much less fortunate than I in my mind because I know it could happen to me at any moment... therefore I am always ready to accept what lies ahead.

Carpe diem, as I say...

It's a rough gig over there, for sure. But this morning, my dog backed up toward my hand and my finger went a little into it's butthole.

Care to guess which event had a more immediate effect on my day?

I believe this would be my vote to test the proof of concept of the Woodstock Industries.org's Goodness Lens and concentrate humansistiy's goodness to assist with relief of suffering for these folks.

If only someone who was aware of the best online voting method within RIU collaborated.

Shut Up And Vote

:peace:
