Hang dry out and cureing step i need help

This is my method:
As for drying and curing i hang dry after the 24 hour dark period. there they will dry in total darkness for 8 days. then cut alot of the branches into smaller sections so they dry quicker. then cure, with a jar for each plant. popping each jar top open for 15 minutes every 4-6 hours. The jars are stored in the dark and are not smoked for 2 weeks.
