hanging light support needed in closet grow

hey rollitup i just recently purchased a 1000w hps/mh light for my closet grow. the new light gives off a little more heat than the 250 and i have been using the rail normally used to hang clothes on i am looking to make a bar or something to help my support the light higher up and pref adjustable. the length of my closet is 82inches so my idea of using a shower curtain rail ran into a problem since the longest they come in is 72inches. i have tried using 2 rails ductaped together and might try adding splint but i think it will bow and i am looking for something that would be able to provide more support. well im stumped but 420 is comming up soon so hopefully i will figure something out if you guys have any ideas or have ran into the same problem any imput is appreciated.

i use cable and pulleys and hooks that i screw into the ceiling works well, lowes home depot sumthin like that

i would go with something like that only i am trying to not put holes in the walls or ceiling

go over to HTGsupply.com, and pick up the hi-lo hangers. i just got a set myself man, theyre fuckin awesome. basically it works like this - you can put a tie through the eyelet of the pulley part, and tie it to your clothing bar, or however you wanna do it, because you said you dont wanna make holes in your cieling or walls. Once thats done, take the nylon cord part of the pulleys, and tie them to the eyelets in your hood. once thats done, set the tension level on the pulleys. Hang your light up, and then this is where the cool fuckin part comes in man

These pulleys work like this - Because you have the tension set up to a certain weight - the weight of your light - all you have to do, is pull the light down and let go, and it stays at the height youve pulled it down to, without having to adjust anything else. If you wanna raise it up for a second, or even permanently, all you gotta do is pull the lights back up, and let go. no readjusting, no nothin, its sweet. Best hangers ever. i would recommend them to anyone that is using a hood or cooltube for a smaller grow. for the larger ones, i would get the light tracks that make the hood move back n forth, that way you only need to spend money on one light per setup, no matter how large it is, because the light would just move back n forth over an 8 foot area, covering the entire area.

but for you dude, use the hi-lo hangers for sure man.
