I'm in MA also. I harvest tomorrow (10 huge plants). I'll be trimming all day.
Completely serious question here, but should the buds be trimmed more in a wet trim? I ask because this year I plan to trim the same way as I did last year, nearly trimming off all the sugar leaves and getting nice and close. Should I be leaving those sugar leaves on for the dry?
This is a great and common question, and the best way I can answer it is this:
Intel from the ones that seem to know the most break it down into two schools of thought. One, it really depends on the humidity levels you have, by leaving your leaf on, you can slow the curing process as it affects the length of the drying process.
Personally, I wet trim because I have some thick colas. I cut the branches or sections of the plants, then 'de-nude' them before hanging them.
It goes to preference, goes to humidity,, do some research and you'll see what I'm talking about. All the answers are here on RIU.
Do a little homework and youll see.
Blessings on your medicine.
