Hanna Gro Check vs Cal Check

I want to buy a replacement probe.

Does anybody know if the terms Cal Check and GroCheck are simply marketing jargon for same feature which may be the automatic temperature adjustment when the device calculates TDS or pH?

The 20 year old manual indicates:
• Combination probe with 8-pin DIN connector -- 1m(3.3') cable:
HI 1285-0, pH/EC/TDS probe, for HI 9813;

I suspect (hope?) that the Hanna 1285-6 replacement probe is also compatible with the old HI 9813 meter.

An inquiry has been sent to Hanna. Waiting now. So I thought I would ask here in the case that somebody can inform me sooner.

thanks!

Here's the scoop.

Cal Check and GroCheck are definitely different things.

If you have (or can obtain) an older old HI 9813 meter then the appropriate "combination" probe, in 2019, is the 1285-5
