Is it possible to do a DWC 5 gallon bucket grow without the use of an PPM / EC meter (only have a PH meter). This method would have a person strictly rely on the manufactures suggestions for the nutrient mix on the back of the container to come out correctly.

yes clever piggy you can do a grow wth no ppm/ec reading but you wont have the results you will get from having one.
You will end up with overfeedng and underfeeding, Nute burn, list goes on imo ppm stick is a essential for dwc :)

Wiimb my man hows things on the isle. Great looking grow. And I see ur still passing on the knowledge awesome. Sometimes the strong need words of support to know there efforts aren't in vain. So let me say again that your appreciated here and your attitude is def world class mate ( a litl Brit for ya LOL). So I take it that the same problem i was having with veggie cyle in dirt would be the same thing with DWC I hope???? I had switched my veg room to all floresent lighting to run a bit cooler, I will neve use them again, never saw anyroots fall in DWC buckets and defanatly saw huge slow down of growth with dirt.....

Dirt doing great now that im back to 400wt and soon to fire up dwc tank to test it as well....

Hey Guys ! Wiimb your topic is very helpful !! i've never grown hydro so i had and still have a lot of questions wich i found the answers here ! I also wanted to make a noob question i dont know if here is the right place , but here it goes : " Imagine my tap water comes with 400-500 ppm , what shoud i do in the early stages ? Use reverse osmoses to get it to 0 ppm then add nutrients ? "

you dont need to feed your eedlings pal, they will be ok.
reverse osmoses i have never heard of it, but if it makes your ppm 0 then sounds good
