Yeah but the 7.0 solution is pretty much made for cannabis growing.IMO get em both and itll be more exct. theres even cleaning solutions as well which are rad. they cal and clean. check em out.
I agree. I have the 98129 combo model. I try to cal. about every 2 weeks or so. You will have to maintain the probe of any ph sensor as they will wear out. I use a cleaning solution, storage solution, 7 & 4 cal. solutions. The probe is porous glass with a metal conductor surrounded with a internal solution. Ph stands for potential hydrogen, the probe determines ph by measuring this ionic exchange. Thats why it's important not to let them dry out or store them in ro especially if it's deionized. This water will leach the life right out of your meter and give you poor performance. Sounds to me like yours would benefit from a good cleaning and 2 point cal.
