Hang in Dank! I started on the patches, lasted about a week and then said the hell with them and just quit. After smoking 2-3 packs a day for 35 years, I just walked away. I'll tell you how, you can laugh if you want but here's how: I said "lord, I've Been poisoning myself for 35 years and want to quit so here's the deal, I'm giving my smoking habit to you". After that, I never had the urge to smoke again. Been almost 11 years and I've never wanted another cigarrette. Might work for you, might not. The patches I guess got rid of the nicotine addiction and God got rid of the mental addiction. All depends on your state of mind. Best of lucK, I'm pulling for you, Nasty habit nocotine, you'll never know how nasty untill you quit! Good luck and God Bless!Happy New year one and all..... I have started a day smoke (cigarette) free.
Got on the patch and going to wean myself off the Nicotine.
Hang in, the accomplishment of quitting is a wonderful thing that you can be proud of for the rest of your life! And you are lengthening your lifespan by years!Happy new year all .and i am also trying to kick the habbit....its like banging you head of a brick wall....FUCKING PAINFULL...12 years and my god do i wish i never started
Some people are stronger, and can ward off ill effects, others are not so lucky! US cigarettes have toxins added to make them more addictive. The oldest woman in the world lives in India and she's smoked (cannabis too) for most of her life... She's a 130 something. My nan... 82... 40 a day for 50 years.
Great, Just remember at first, It's one day at a time, It will get easier, trust me, you're still kicking the nicotine addiction, when thats gone, all that's left is the mental, I'm not saying that's easy, but easier. Best of luck.Day 4 and still haven't had any tobacco, Today I'm going to see if I can make it with out the patch.
