Happy plants that herm on you.. what's the deal?

I found 2 pollen sacs on my WWxBB that's in week 6 of flower... they were mature and got pollen all over my buds probably. I saw one that was white and empty looking, so I'm assuming it already burst, right? Do they look sort of white? Then I saw another (but didn't know what it was) and when I went to pluck it off, it crumbled to pollen in my fingers. I looked over the plant for at LEAST 20 mins and didn't see any others. I don't get it... she has been extremely healthy and happy then entire time... no deficiencies, no toxicities, temps were always between 82-69.

Why did my plant grow some rogue pollen sacs? How unlikely is it that there are only 2 of them? :-?
 
From what I've read stress is only part of the equation. The other part is simply genetics. I'd say wait it out and see how bad the damage is at harvest. A few seeds shouldn't make much of a difference if at all in potency and yield. Just sucks that you'll have to look out for them and pick em out
 
I grew the same wwxBB it's an unstable strain. mine hermaphrodited on me also from heat stress.
Scratch it off your list like I did :)
 
That strain is a very commercialized strain ive heard. Super unstable genetics, you may get some big buds but some big balls along the way.
 
Same thing happened to us....but mine started right at the fifth week. Everyone advised to pull and throw my sexually troubled baby away and start over. But I kept it going since it was the only child ( it was a beginners experiment grow just to see if we can even do it ) and to my amazement, I now have awesome buds hanging waiting to cure and they are some nice looking big butts....I am into BIG BUTTS and I can not lie...........good luck... and watch, you will also have some killer size butts.....peace from me and my gay confused plants who love me....:weed:
 
Im going off what ive seen and done.. Before the days we knew about internet we found some plants throw the male pollen sacs on female plants .. i was not turned off more amazed due to what i learned in ag in school.. so would just lick my fingers and pluck the pollen off my wet fingers would catch most of the pollen..then just dip it in some water.. now i know herms dont belong in our gardens for the reason of clones would carry that trait or there off spring would likely do the same also.

Mine came from a company in California, forgive me for not mentioning their name. But I got to tell everyone that I have gotten seeds from WORLDWIDE CANNIBIS SEEDS many times and they have never let me or my friends down. Always on time , great stealth packaging , no paper trails , and you can always get a real human on the phone if needed and if you email them - you will hear back within the same day.....they are wonderful.........
 
Genetics can do it too unfortunately... If you've ruled out stress and everything else then it could just be a crappy trait of your strain. Good luck though.
 
Yeah, its from Female Seeds. I bought it before I knew anything about it and knew it was popular.. that's all. I'm tempted to think the herming is in the genetics... needless to say this isn't a strain I'm going to be growing again.
