Why complicate things ? Switched power strip / timer … thats it.

A timed power strip is the easier solution, could that work with a temp control unit or separate strip?

If the wire in the house is proper gauge to handle the lights draw then you can remove the light fixture and install an outlet on the ceiling...plug in light.
Then just use a normal plug in timer too.

Thanks they are the same Guage I have kids as while so I'm trying not to have a lot of equipment on the ground.
