Well I was wondering if it would be smart to just hardwire my king led 2000w light to my existing light in my closet. I'm planning on putting it on a programmable in-wall timer if possible.
Any help would be

Ya basically, I'm dealing with a warm closet just trying to keep as little in it as possible and working on ventilation for my warm air

If the wire in the house is proper gauge to handle the lights draw then you can remove the light fixture and install an outlet on the ceiling...plug in light.
Then just use a normal plug in timer too.
