I was just on CCM forums, and it seems that NONE of the dispensaries are accepting new patients. And right now Caregivers aren't allowed to be compensated for donating their excess to them. Soooo ignorant!

By law, nobody can receive compensation for donations of overage. CCM is pushing for legislation that would allow caregivers to be compensated for donations but seems to have no interest in supporting the extension of the same privilege to patients, given that they shoot the idea down and without discussion both here and on their own forums

no matter, this isn't going to be the wild west where anyone can grow and sell to dispensaries.....it's not gonna happen....

Hey guys. If you go to knowyourgrow.co you can see some of the local strains that have gotten tested and which ones have hit high on CBD.

Seems to be a beautiful system they have here LOL...oh I love sarcasm! Idiots? I was thinking more along the line of morons lol You'd think that those 8 who were accepted for dispensaries would have taken into consideration all the "possible" patients and should have had enough medicine to cover everyone. I read one is only allowing 1/2 oz at a time? Now THAT's stupid!

the problem with the dispensaries( well one of many lol) is that they are having a hard time finding growers....all the good growers are growing for themselves as caregivers.....who wants to grow for someone else for $20/hr?????

I'm not as confident of that as you seem to be.

Neither is RI's governor. We don't even have dispensaries/compassion centers. :(

Our state outlined how much dispensaries can issue to each patient. I think it's a 1/2 oz per patient per 15 days. So IF we did have dispensaries/compassion centeres here, and I gave both of my caregiver licenses to one each - I'd only be able to obtain 2 oz a month, having to make two trips to each every two weeks. Even then, that still wouldn't cover my usage depending on my symptoms that month.

At some point perhaps there will be recognition that dispensaries are not addressing the need adequately, and then relax the restrictions on caregivers somewhat so people can get their medicine. Seems like caregivers are doing a good job generally, although I have no data to back that up. Just anecdotes on here etc. And me. I'm doing a good job. :)

I agree totally.

Although being a c/g is no easy feat. Here your allowed less than 5oz of medicine (in your house) even if the caregiver has their full 5 patients and themselves as a patient. If the state could just double that it would take a lot of the pressure off of people who are helping seriously sick people out. Most of the people I know grow for themselves, the portion that don't either have children or are 100% disabled. So what, your going to make it a full time job for someone to help out 5 disabled people who'd rather use something other than opiates to feel better. That's harsh.

A cynical person might call this setting the program up to fail.
I'd agree.

To even take care of more than yourself you'd basically need to not abide by the rules. Which is why I could never thing about being a care giver for someone.

However my hat's off to those who do it - because like I said, I've met (face to face) some seriously ill people in my short legal journey.

Project CBD has all the info on these strains.

Mr. Nice auctions have the latest high-CBD strains coming in at 15% CBD and 10%THC, a monster combo beyond Cannatonic's (from Resin Seeds)original 6% and 5% ratio (1:1 roughly).

Really interested in the Z7. I joined the site but the "Buy Now" buttons on the Z7 items aren't working. They all lead to an "Invalid auction" message :(

Wow that's some weird looking weed. Along the lines of the Grinspoon, sorta. And like the LSD I grew. All stringy like that. If it's anything like that weed though, it is some potent medicine.
