Even with SOG, i'd say that would be way to early, you'd most likely harvest before the plant has time to fully mature and have a much less potent plant because of it. Even if it does look good in the earlier stages, it's still gotta mature :P

You'll know when is a good time, just don't rush it, all of your hard work and patience will go to waste because you got sticky fingers at the last stage of growing:)

If you started flowering today.. it would be around this time in feb. when you would cut. then you have to have some kind of time to cure, having fresh uncured somke on a trip is worse than having to pay for a sack and best of all when you get back the cured fruit will be there waiting.:hump: But thats what i would do. :peace:

Are you sure that's true? I've never force flowered seedlings before (have you seen his journal)? I gotta ask if a plant isn't sexually mature (i.e. alternating nodes, or enough vegetative growth to sustain flowering) does it really still finish in the estimated time (i.e. 56 days, 10 weeks, whatever)? He's talking what, 8-9 weeks from now? Many strains are about 8 weeks according to specs, but in all honesty I think alot of that is sales oriented. True 8 week strains I'm assuming would be mature mothers, or clones from a mature mother, not a seedling that is on it's second or 3rd leaf nodes. Not including the strains they claim are 8 weeks just to sell a couple of more seeds to the impatient grower.

I may be wrong.....
