Harvest! Best way to dry and cure?

Hey guys here's my first grow. I harvested today and hung the buds up to dry. How long and what do I need to do to dry and cure the bud? I was going to hang for 3-5 days then put them in mason jars? Can anyone give me some advice on how to do it? also how much weight does the bud loose when its been dried? Thanks

what i do is. i dry them for a few days until the outside of the buds are dry. then i put them in jars and close the lid for a couple hours. then i check them to make sure they're not too wet. if they are too wet just take them out and lay them out for a few hours. and if they're not too wet leave it shut for 12ish hours. and then i like to shake the buds around every so often so they don't clump together. and then i open the jars for 30min- an hour or so. the first week or so. then i open them for about 10 minutes a day. hope this helps. other people do it differently. ill get you a good link.

Everyone has their own way to dry and cure, but as far as yield, it'll dry to 1/3 of its wet weight. Example 90g's will dry to 30g's.

Thanks guys but the fucking cops raided and trashed the lot! I cant believe I waited so long to hace them destroyed :/

i felt a disturbance in the force when those plants died. a crying shame.

I did too Well it certainly wont stop me from trying again!

Next time leave the plant whole, leaves and all to hang for 3-5 days depending on environment. Then trim and into jars or if a touch wet still a paper bag for 1-2 days before the jar. I don't have anything in a jar prior to 5 days no matter what.
