harvest extras

Never had a harvest before, but I dont really intend on making hash or keefe with my clippings, but I was planning on using them for budder or oil. I was wondering how much of the stems would actually have resin on them or thc in them, at what point down the plant is the stem become useless...waste not want not. just want to make sure I dont waste any greatness.

I'd say everything but the main stalk and is good to grind up and put in butter. easier to dispose of after you break it up as well.

The entire plant can be used but the most resin and THC will be right when you harvest. What about making hash and then butter out of that?

i dunnno...I dont have all the screens and shit to try to make hash, if I were to do that I would just cut out the middle man and make the oil from the trimmings....

Considered dry ice hash? I'm probably going to give that a shot with my next harvests trimmings. I have to much butter now as it is. Lol.

I use everything but the roots.

I personally only use the sugar leaves and popcorn buds when making hash or butter. Anything that is less than 50% covered in trichomes is a waste and will only make your butter/oil green and taste like plant matter. In theory the entire plant can be used but the THC levels are very low almost none in the branches and fan leaves.
