Yellow leaves like that are common on buds. Most often yellow trim leaves are from the plant having had issues at some point in the growth or from deficiencies especially at the end of flowering during the fade.
Take more pics to be safe if you want but I don't think it has bud rot.
You bring up a fair point about common leaf yellowing. I agree with you that it is entirely normal to have some yellowing on fans and even the smaller 'sugar leaves.'
Can't hurt to check each bud carefully for any problems though
trim leaves that turn yellow at the base are something to look out for, you see, because when they die and decompose inside the bud, they can cause botrytis. If the tip or even most of the leaf is ok, don't sweat it. But if it goes all the way to the bud, be alert! Speaking from experience, not google lol. Good luck and peace to all who respect the plant!
