harvest method question

Quick question now i know after you cut your plants your suppose to hang them upside down and let them dry out for a couple days, my question for anyone out there is, what if you hung as many as you could and couldnt hang anymore due to space or any other issue, would there be anything extreme to happen say if you put the buds in a box with paper towel at the bottom laid em flat, kept some of the leaves on so the bud would not be touch anything just the leaves would, besides maybe losing some THC is there anything else, will they still dry out? and perhaps the only negative outcome would be lose of thc any response greatly appreciated

should be fine, just keep an eye on them to avoid mold.

You need fresh air around the entire bud or you can get mold, if the box is ventilated, and the buds are on a screen you will be good

I usually hang um for a while,until the outer bud fills a lil dry,then clip the buds from the stem,and put the buds in a paper bag.I only do this when humidity is low or 50% and less.

Is the cold a problem when drying. My closet is really cold,even with a fan, should i put in a portable heater.

I dry mine in boxes.

I hang dry for 5 to 7 days plants hung in the dark fith a fan keeping the air moving. Then I trim them up and put them in paper bags or boxes with holes punched in the sides so air can move in and out for 5 more days I also put paper towls at the bottom to let air get under the buds. Then its in the jars or in the ziplocks for sale if they are done. Sometimes I cant cure the forsale stuff as well as I'd like but no one has ever bitched about it. Although my last batch I though was a little chloraphyl tasting even after dry and box and cure. Not sure why just didn't taste as good as I thought it would.
