Harvest now or final flush?

Ok, seriously, not another flush thread.

I'm debating chopping my plants today, or give one water only feed and chop in three days.

I switched to only water 10 days ago, but felt that the ripening was not happening quick enough.
So last feeding (3 days ago) I added 1/2 strength nutes and some dry koolbloom.. Now they seemed to have ripened a LOT since then.
I noticed some amber trichomes starting on the calyx's and most of the rest are cloudy.

My argument to chop now is because I don't know if it might over ripen in three days.
My argument to water once more is to give the plant a little extra time to use up it's stores, even though it's only had 1/2 nutes once in the past 3 feeds.

Thoughts?

On another note I also noticed Purple in some in the trichomes.

I couldn't notice any amber heads in that pic. I do see color in the stems tho... hmmmmm

I'm here to be helped right along with you. Here's mine. I see a amber head in there. (I think) I have untrained eyes for this.

hard to get a decent pic through there loup. This one shows some amber heads. Like I said though the majority are cloudy. Just started seeing a few amber heads

well maybe I will chop tomorrow as I’ll have the whole day free and I can take my time. I’m thinking of washing with lemon juice/baking soda before trimming as well. Lots of small hairs/dust accumulated.
Tuesday or Wednesday it would be rushed only having a couple free hours in the evening.

That doesnt sound like a good idea to me. Just cut, hang and dry it.
For your first grow and harvest you are overthinking it.

Can you grab a small popcorn or LARF piece and test it in a pipe to see if you like the effects? It will be a little harsher than the cured bud - but it gives you an idea of the buzz.

I like the way you think :) I just picked off a small piece from under the canopy and tossed it in my dynavape pen. Actually didn't taste bad at all vaping it.
