Harvest time but should I wait to flush?

I know flushing is a touchy subject here but I need to cross that boundary. It's my first grow and Ive got a beautiful plant, unknown bag seed that is dark purple, smells exactly like chocolate and is frostier that the snowman. It's 7 weeks 4 days flowering and the top colas are starting to have a few amber trichomes. The lower flowers trichomes are almost all opaque. I'd like to harvest now but I fear the MG soil and chemical nutes are not something I want to smoke and will impact health or flavor. I ran 4 gallons of fresh water today but thats it. PPM of the runoff was still 520 even after the 3rd gallon.

Should I wait and flush it for a few more days and risk losing more trichomes to age, or just harvest the tops now? Will harvesting the tops earlier than the lower buds have any impact on them?

Run pure water and calag for two weeks.
Then chop.
I have avoided flushing the majority of my grows and I heard the plants bulk up a bit when the flush phase begins,so if your in a rush, cut a nugget off now an let the rest finish with the flush.
Good luck

Those plants look very nice. Not sure if you should harvest yet, but I wouldn't flush them. If you have to try it out, try flushing half your plants so you can see first hand whether its good or bad.

As far as harvesting the tops....you'll be fine. I did it with my last harvest. Definitely worth it if you're not in a rush to get your next batch under the light and you have a lot of underdeveloped bud. The plant will have no problem with it.
