Harvest time help!

Hey guys I have a decent size plant 70 days into flowering . It is a gorilla glue strain.

The trichomes still don’t look amber .. I wanted more of a couch lock high. In fact they look pretty clear.

Am I do something wrong ?

Should the trichomes be darker by now ? And since I’m on day 70
Should I go any longer ?

Go until the tricomes on the calyx are opaque. You still need another week at least. Never go by breeder info. Too many variables. Also stake your plant next time to help support the weight so they don't flop over like that. Tomato cage works too. Flopped over buds are more prone to bud rot on the underside.

What did you use to see the trichs like that my jewelers loup is hard to read or I just don't know how to use it lol
 
I bought one that sucked .. and came broken on top of that.. It was 10 dollars.
Then I went back and bought this one and it was 25 dollars.. but nice because I can see it on my phone . The microscope connects to your phone .

Take a close clear picture on your phone and then zoom in on it. Works pretty well. Yeah loupes you have to get the angle just right. Remember to look on the buds not sugar leaves. Sugar leaves show amber much sooner.
