ok i have a couple plants that are right at 7 1/2-8 1/2 weeks old right now. This past week was meant to be the final res change because the older of the 3 are sativa dom. so i tried to time it perfectally for harvest since my mekong high is a 9 week sativa.
i mixed my nutes last sunday... except i mixed the base nutes in the res., got a phone call and told my girlfriend to mix the rest the same way shes seen me do it. feed chart and everything on the wall.
come to find out this past week these plants have EXPLODED in new growth, and i was trying to figure out why. apparantly instead of adding botanicare cns17 ripe, she added botanicare pure blend pro grow. i cant argue that its created tons of new flower growth.
now im left wondering if i should wait til this new growth stops and matures, or just chop them. main point, the PPM in the reservoir HASNT gone down at all in the past 4 days. not 1 PPM. i see the new growth as its all over my pure skunks running colas, but the mature calyxes are swollen and the buds rock hard and tight.
i dont know if i should wait it out another week to see if its going to fatten up more with the new calyxes and end up giving me more weight... or if i should just chop now and get my next crop in the flowering room.
i have a whole tray of new strong plants that need to flower. so does anyone think that ill get anymore new weight thats worth it? or just chop? ive never had this happen before, so im totally lost.
p.s. somebody pleaseee throw me a bone and help me out.
