Harvest time?

My buddy thinks it's time to harvest ... I disagree as I do not see any amber trichomes. Can someone please help me settle this debate.20220226_091453.jpg

70% Super soil 30% Pro Mix. 3x 300watt full spectrum led and in a 4x8 tent. Avg. temp. is 18 to 27 Celsius, humidty 40 to 50. It's been about 8 weeks. Hindu is suppose to be 7to8, but I am not seeing any amber trichomes. ... and believe me she is covered with them.

None of this info is relevant to your question. Your buddy is wrong. 7 to 8 weeks is a lie. Nothing is ready in 7 weeks. 3 to 5 weeks to go.

The fruit isn’t ripe…..harvest if it’s unripe fruit you’re wanting. Otherwise allow it to finish.
Buds aren’t ripe with new white pistils popping out top to bottom. Over the next few weeks those hairs will turn and recede while the calyces swell up nice and plump.
They are great looking buds and allowing them to finish out will result in much better smoke and fatter buds with more density and heft. You’d be amazed the difference 3 more weeks (give or take) will make.

That’s almost definitely why if you’ve been pulling them at this stage.

That bud in the picture hasn’t filled in at all yet.

Yeah those still have swelling to go. Looking good, almost there.
Your humidity is in check so as long as you have lots of airflow in the tent from a couple fans, I wouldn't be worried about budrot.

Ya ... the temp and humidity is easier to keep 20 to 26 Celsius and perfect humidity over the winter months. ... but come summer it's a brsnd new ball game. ... it's a battle to keep under 30 and constant emptying of the dehumidifier bucket. Lol
