Hey I'm about 4 weeks into flowering of my very first grow (from 12/12 switch) and plants seem to be doing alright think i fucked up with the distance between light and top canopy and made it streeeetch like a motherfucker, plants are about 6 ft tall and currently being held down by a scrog net, but I'm just wondering how much longer I have left until I can enjoy the fruits (buds) of my labour if anyone could give me a rough guide it would be fantastic

Add info.

1.2x1.2x2 tent
unknown seed strain (sativa dominate from the looks of the plants)
600w hps and the usual rotating fan and carbon filter/extraction fan
3 feed cycle of 1st max strength biobizz bloom ferts mixed with a splash of Shogun silicon root enhancer, 2nd half strength biobizz bloom ferts with a dash of equal parts NPK fert to give the nitrogen a boost and a 3rd day of pure H20

totally normal for em to stretch in the first 3 weeks of flower, as much as 3 to 4 times their size

Yup but not 6" between internodes I have had to resort to growing them across ways under the scrog net as the light is to the top of what the tent will allow

6 inches between nodes is also normal with Sativa's ,,, true Sat's are a bitch to grow properly and they take a lot longer to finish

I've had sativa strains take between 13-20 weeks to finish. Thing will get tight in that tent if you don't stay on top of her.

Wow dude, that thing is nowhere near completion. A stated above, some Sativas can take what seems like forever. You are only 4 weeks into flower ( my guess is you are 2 weeks into flower...4 weeks since the flip, but only 2 weeks in flower )......you could seriously have up to 4 1/2 months left on that baby. Not trying to bring you down, just being honest. And since you do not know the strain, there is no way to know for sure. But I see no real buds on that plant yet.

Well yeah different growers use different times for the 'official' flower time, wether its when the light flips or when you your sex shows, only shown sex for about 2/half weeks so your bang on with that, and I know it's all pistils atm, gutted to hear it might take another 4 months!

It's a crap shoot, and as you probably know, a plant is finished when it's finished. Not alot you can do to speed the process. I think you're in for a long summer though, just my opinion.

Gave my girls a trim today, as I'm new to this I didn't go overboard but couldn't see the point in keeping branches which get next to no light on the plant sucking up valuable neuts, I guess in that game it's all about trial and error:mrgreen:
