Harvest time?

Need some insight on Harvest time! 83 days from seed and 56 days of flowering. Almost all trichs are cloudy with maybe 10 -15 % amber.

are you looking at the trichs through a magnifier ? a loupe because i see so many new growers assume trichs are the pistils / hairs that grow out if you have amber and cloudy / milky you can harvest when ever you feel looks flushed to me
 
Yes I'm looking at trich's through magnifier. Not the pistils. There are still a few clear trichs also, just doesn't seem like they swelled a lot to me.
 
And what about this dark period they say to give right before harvest, does it really make that big of a difference

There is no potency loss in days, all that keep en in the dark, light degrades thc crap is nonsense. Mythical forum bro science!!! I've done the test (every one should) I took a fresh bud with a 10 day cure and had it tested, THC was 25%, I then left that bud set out in the open on my coffee table for a month and tested it again, THC was 22%
 
Ok sounds pretty straight across the board, I decided I'm gonna let her dry out more from previous flush a couple days, so maybe tues or wed I'll chop

If I were you I would have cloned her if you haven't already she is not going to express her full self from seed. You should be more excited you have a keeper than trying to guess when to chop this girl down. You will have a better grow next time around.

That would be nice, can I clone an auto though??
 
What u guys think? And the buds feel really dry, is that normal? And left the smaller nuggets for a lil longer
