I heard that u should flower for up to 2 weeks longer than what the breeder has suggested. He has always used serious seeds I am not but does what he is saying have any merit, I dont want to goto long, what do you all think?

You use what the breeder says as a guidline and what the trichs say as when to harvest. Then you let a few go a couple days longer and see how they turn out. and keep dialing it in until you get exactly the type of buzz you want.

I'll have to get a magnifying glass to check the trichs. Im at 52 days and the breeder says 55-65, I would prefer a stronger more stoned high, so I was going to wait 65 days or more, but Ill keep checkig the trichs

clip a bud off at everyday past 55 till you decide to harvest. Label them all and then try them out after they dry. then you will know next time which day exactly you want to harvest to get the eeffect you want.

I dont start my flower day count until the plant shows sex. Since I've done that, the timelines seem much closer to the breeders recommendations. That is just my personal way of doing it....I know this is a much debated topic and I am not trying to start any debates.

Like its been said, use the timeline as a guideline and let the plant tell you when she's done.

I'm going to give that a try next time and see if I can see any difference, thanks for the tip !!!!!

The breeders are growing in perfect conditions also. I never had a strain that was on the breeders time, always 2-3 weeks after.
