I vegged for about 7 weeks from Seed, I did expect the buds on some of them to be a lot bigger however they are all 4.5- 5 ft tall so the buds they do have seems like a lot just cuz plant so tall a few are 6ft tall. but damn only 2lbs you thinking
I have heard 600s are good its my first grow so of course we think 1000 HPS will get the most. I really want to get into the hydroponics world of growing see how that Impacts. my results. I honestly thought it would be more than 2lbs considering how tall they are and how many palm size colas I counted which was like 107 colas that are half palm size, excluding the rough shit at the bottom. Least figured I would ask thanks fellas
Thats another thing 2.5 weeks is my guess, however I wouldn't mind at all pushing them longer, I have heard some say the trichome check I have also heard people say let the bulk of the leafs fall off if you look at my plants they are real bushy and still pretty green on them. I feel like starting from seed and getting all my lights running at different times could have stunted growth
1000 will yield more if done perfectly but the quality with cmh is top notch. Some articles compare a 315cmh to a 1000hps. You can do the best of both worlds in coco coir. It’s a base like soil except for it has no nutrients and you add all the nutes to your water which gives it hydro growth. You can water once per day to 3-4 times with dwc system. I’d suggest that for your next run. And you would only need 3-5 gal pots with coco which saves you big money on not buying so many bags of soil. Coco is a great way to learn how to give your plants exactly why they need nutrient wise.
I’d get some bamboo stakes and plant ties and tie them to stand upright. You’re saying another 2-3 weeks before they are done. ... they pack on most of their size and weight the last couple weeks. So you still have some time before final size
Those articles are full of crap. It's equal to about 400w hps. I would take a 315 cmh over 400w hps any day though. They are good lamps.
Trichs are the best indicator for the type of high you want. But the structure of the buds tells you when to start looking at them.
