Just wondering who here has taken anything down yet this year? What strain?
I encountered botrytis for the first time, and have taken down some Pineapple Express. I decided to let other strains go awhile longer, although the weather is supposed to be overcast and rainy for the next week.
So, what is your outside situation(s)?

Make sure they're supported good. I had one split in half on me a few years ago because the rain weighed it down so bad that it couldn't support itself anymore.

So everyone is done then?
My 10 day forecast is calling for hi's of 45-50, and lows 35-43, all while having 50% precipitation.

Twas a great season for me plants did really well , seems a lot got mold from what im hearing sorry for you guys been there, cant wait to try my outdoor, but for me nothing beats indoor just love outside for the low cost of things.

Friend of mine has a G13 Chocolate Heaven which should be done next week. For having Thai in its make up, it certainly exhibits indica traits. Beautiful plant with no signs of mold. She will be a bitch to trim as she has a million tops but he should have a nice large harvest to last him a year.

Youre rolling the dice anyrime you leave plants out past mid september. Cold wet conditions are almost always prevalent which is what mold likes! Basically you want to harvest while their is still warm sunny days, the plants stop photosynthesis below 60. Id rather harvest a week or so early than lose half of it to mold. Obe tactic to combat mold is having the plants receive the earliest morning sunlight as possibel.

Yes I've told my friend that. We've had some rain and told him he's running out of time. Problem is the plant seems like it needs a week to finish. She's almost there and I think I will be trimming her with my buddy this week end.
Last time he had some Mexican bag seed sativa and it was too early.
Outdoors is a totally different beast as you don't have control over all the elements you do indoors.

She has a candy smell to her. Which I can't really pinpoint, as its sweet.

she's not skunky nor does she have an overpowering smell

I have a question thats goes along with the op 's question the forecast says snow my plants are under a clear tarp roof we were going to try for 2 more weeks but snow/cold freaks me if no photosynthesis is hapening under 60 nothing much has happened for the last month in northern mi out dont want to loose plants to weather I have the ability to put plants inside my grow area but not directly under lights in a hall of sorts but the lights are in a 18 on cycle but I could shut the door after 12 hrs what is my best option
a) harvest now
B) move indoor for 2 weeks
c) leave them alone & keep a close eye on them

What he said... Anyone?

Photosynthesis slow down below 60, it doesn't stop completely.

If you have snow on the horizon I'd harvest. You don't want to lose eveything.

So helped my friend chop down his g13 Chocolate Heaven. There was very little mold in some of the lower branches but it was very minimal. pretty leafy, small nugs, no real cola development but that May have been due to having mutliple tops. Took about 6 hours with three trimmers, a fuckin long night! I'm convienced that there is zero thai in it, smells nice and looks pretty good though.
