Harvest

Hi have a dilema with my harvesting my plant im not tottaly sure when to harvest some of the pistols at the top as in the kola are orange (round about half are orange on the top ) but underneath like at the middle of the plant are still creamy with about 5 or 6 are orange , or do i wait till all of the pistols on the plant are about 50%-70% all over or should i harvest now ? Im struggling on this side of growing . Can any 1 help please .

buy a 60-100 x pocket led microscope and look at trichomes thats how you knw when to harvest. by looking at pistils its more of a guess

You can't really tell for sure whether or not to harvest until you look at the trichomes under a microscope. I've had strains that we're ready to harvest while most of the pistils were white and I've had strains that weren't anywhere near harvest after all the hairs had turned orange so the only accurate way to tell when its ready for harvest is to look at the trichomes.

Also it depends what lamp ur growing under,like if ur growing under a cfl then some of those lower buds will take forever to swell and the pistils to turn,then again if its a 1000w hps ur growing under then uv still got a while to go

The strain is jock horror auto hope this help ill put some pics on the morn cheers for the info ive got a 25x60 with a light what have i to look for in the trichomes ?

What have i to look for in the trichomes cheers kingwin

trichs start clear then when thc is most potent they go cloudy after that it starts to break down into cbn i believe which is amber.
so ppl say if you want the more heady rush uplifty high cut when most are cloudy if you want a more laid back couchlock cut when more amber

i hear thoe in some strains dont go amber so take that with a grain of salt know your strains
