Harvest?

Day 51 of my bagseed Kush, was going to run till day 56ish but getting impatient haha. Took a little bud, weighed it at 4.5ish grams so will maybe weigh 1.125ish when its done drying lol. I have a little loop with a led attached to check trichs but I can't get close enough so taping it to my phone seems to be the best I can get. I have a book that says harvest when most of the trichs are clear and a few are milky. But I think you want to harvest when most of them are milky and the od one here or there is amber. Then they are more pyschoactive or whatever with the od trich amber and diminishing. But because I read this I figured whatever and chopped a nug. Check er out

Looking good. Id say another week. most trichs look cloudy and buds looking chunky

I'll chime in with between 1 an 2 as well, but very nice looking buds. Really healthy looking. Great job. It's nice to get within that window of where you can't really go wrong, and you pulled it off. I'm within a couple of weeks myself.

id be happy with bud looking as sweet as that could let it run on a week ten days more...your leaves are not yellowing yet either so there is growing in the plant yet-)

Thanks guys! Thats exactly what I am thinking. I'd like to push 2 weeks out of them and just catch that last day or two of full ripeness but at the same time I wanna smoke it and see my yield. First grow in awhile. I've never faced any problems except my first grow and that was spider mites due to my dumb ass bringing in an outside plant that was infested to the tits lol although I have always preferred to learn the hard way, builds more character aha. Faced a little light or heat stress at the beginning this grow tho, they are doing fine as you can see. Bin about 2 years since my last grow.

This grow:

600watt HPS cooltube/ 3'x2'x5' tent/ 4" 200cfm fan/filter.

7 bagseed Kush clones/ 1 Cheese clone from GHS/ 2 weeks veg after transplant/ 3L pots/ Advanced Nutrients Sensi A,B/ Big Bud/ Bud Candy/ Voodoo Juice/ Grozyme/ Prosilicate/ Mother Earth Bloom super tea/ Feed once a week with 1L/ Flushed last 2 weeks with Final Flush/ finishing with distilled water and Bud Candy for a soak/

12/12 lighting for the first 6 weeks of flower. Last 2 weeks of flower have changed to 10/14. 2 days before chop will be 48 hours of darkness with a final Bud Candy soak. Might switch out the Bud Candy with refined sugar. I've done this before and felt I noticed more terps using the refined sugar. Not sure if the Bud Candy is all chemically mixed and blah blah blah or if its just like liquid sugar.

Ah yes!!! "there is growing in the plant yet" that is absolutely right, didnt think of it that way, read that the other week catching up on an old book. I'll push her till she crokes haha jk.. have yet to experience any yellowing on any of the grows. Then again ive stuck to kush mostly. My cheese has shown a touch of that tho so. I'll be harvesting her a week after the kush maybe. Suppose to be 8 weeks on the cheese but i'm sensing the sativa pheno in her so. We shall see

sativa lovely head high but longer to harvest..im doing a nyc diesel she is about 12 weeks flowering...sooo long lol...good job on your grow mate-)

Oh man they are looking good day 53 today. Just an update. They usually get fed/watered once a week being every Monday with 1L in 3L pots with Pro-mix HP. I gave them 500ml each of 60/40 distilled water/tap water with 30ml of Bud Candy to 4L of the water today. Usually it is suppose to be 2ml per liter but I am doing a gradual "sugar soak", figured it can't hurt. Trying to get those terps and trichs out more.

I also didnt PH the water this time, it was tested around 8.0. My soil has been built up with a lot of salts so I flushed twice, but the PH of the soil is still probably very very low regardless of the non PH flush as well. I really need a digital PH meter as well as a soil one, seems I'm always fucking with the PH cuz there is a recommended PH level for the soil being 5.8-6.2 which I have done 6-6.5 with my mixtures as best I could with my PH drops. The original soil and what is in it thats needing to be ph'd to 5.8-6.2 has probably been washed away slowly over time I suspect? because my run off has been like 4.0 PH. I have been told 5.8 for veg. 6.2 for flower so to speak as a guideline, this also makes me suspect that.. needing a more alkaline mix over time as the salts build up and the buffers deplete.
