Harvested and jarred

Harvested on October 12. Hang dried for five days with small fan bucket and towel as a humidifier was too much. Put in a brown bag for one day and cut buds down in size.Then I Jared them up and the Rh was 65 to 66 after sitting all night. I then burp them daily two times for 10 minutes. After six days Rh is 60.

Should I keep burping till 58 as I have some Boveda packs for 58%?

The bubble I made with fresh frozen nugs is crazy so I’am in no rush on the flower. Some of the bubble did clump up is this from moisture and should I take it out to dry more? It was dried for 4 days the second round dried 7 days and is not clumping.

I pressed some kief and it turned out sooo good.

Curing stops below 58%

I would try to keep it in that 58-62% range.

when should I toss in the Boveda I live in Colorado and it’s dryz Drop in now or keep curing? Thank you

I would throw it in once you hit 58%. You reallllllly don’t want it to get below 58%. You cannot restart the cure once it dips below 58%. You can reintroduce moisture but you can’t restart the cure.

try to limit how often your opening your containers. Put the bulk of it in a container and enough to last you a week in a different container. This way you aren’t constantly dropping your RH in the bulk container.

Any tips on making fresh frozen?

Sure for the hash it’s pretty simple. Cut the nugs off then straight into the freezer in Tupperware for at least two days then I prep. We have a spring nearby in Colorado so I get water and make ice cubes. Then I freeze the spoon micro plane and tweezers all tools. Then I mix ice cubes with water that has been in the freezer and layer in the buds. First run is the 10,10,10 10 minutes sitting 10 stirring 10 more sitting. I mix in one bucket and then process through the screens in another. I freeze the hash overnight and then microplane and try to dry for a week. Other tips you have to spray the hash bags to get it into a clump, moving water in bag helps drain, pull bag to top for easy collection, and more. Just gotta do it a few times and the main trick is the fresh frozen material or else it is much darker with dry material.

I dried my stems 18-24” for 5-7 days and then transferred to big storage bins which for me has been a kind of cure. Then I fine trim and finish the cure in gallon glass jars.
This year I had two trees that kicked ass, so I’ve got a 20 gallon fiber drum 2/3rds filled with bud and 6 glass gallon jars filled. My RH dropped below 58% last week and the 62% Bovida packets I have in them has not gotten the RH up. It’s hovering around 50%.
any words of advice?

Bovida packets are designed to work in specific sizes. I would make sure you’re using a large enough packet for 20gallons.
