Harvested WW, some problems perhaps?

I harvested my WW plant.It has been 6 weeks at veg. and 10 weeks at flowering.
30 hours passed since i put them into dark room, now I will place them in a bag for 8 hours.. then continue with the dark room...
Anyways, plant was healthy and everything was okey, the thing is there is no smell.Drying process is not over but it smells more like grass, nothing like ww.
is this normal? if not what is the reason behind it?

Yeah, I just harvested my first crop and it smells like that (Blue Venom - Blueberry x White Widow), after the first week of curing the smell is starting to change. I suspect that after the next couple of weeks it will be perfect. My wife and I have smoked some of the Blue Venom, and when I break off a nug the inside smells much more interesting. I'm hoping that smell breaks free.

I am using the method that I saw in ready set grow (hightimes mag. grow guide dvd) for drying. It goes like this 24hours in dark room 8 hours in a bag 16 in dark room 6 in bag 12 in dark room 4 in bag etc.. today is my 3rd day and it didnt dry so i am continuing with the same cycle.What do you suggest how long it should dry?

and i just checked temp and humidity conditions it has been 4 days under 70-80 humid, and 79F. I will fix the temp and humid asap, but do you think it fucked something up in these 4 days??

i hang and dry in dark room for 5 days then jar for a week opening the jar for 1hr a day seem to do the trick for me

Doing it like that in plastic bags every so often sounds like it might mold/rot....just like a fruit might rot. I dunno...Im the uber nubi so dont take my advice. My grower friend gave me 2 fresh buds that smelled like grass till they dried good. Then they smelled like any other dankness....skunky good.

The "dark room" is a bit of a myth. Just make sure it isnt extra bright. Regular household light bulbs wont hurt the weed.

With respect to the smell, most of the weed smell comes from curing. After the stems snap instead of bend, put the herb in some jars or bags and just blow air into them every day or two. After around 2 weeks, your herb will smell like sunshine on bare breasts and the herb will be pretty sticky too.

MOST of the presentation value of the herb if grown properly comes from the dry and cure stage.
