Not the hairs bro, the trichromes. Those lil itty bitty crystal looking things on the plant that you can't see without a jeweler's scope. You chop when half the hairs are still white you're gonna be in trouble.

only impossible for people with little patiencedont just leave it for 5- 7 days. rooms get hot and dry keep an eye on it at least every morn and night. i like to wait til its crispy on the outside throw it in a zip lok until its soft again ( only a few hours usually) wait for it to crisp up again then throw it in a jar and burp it once in a while. works for me and is dang near as easy as possible. keep some out if your gunna want to smoke it putting it in a jar takees a long time to thoroughly dry it and who doesnt wanna try it right away its impossible not to.
If u cut the stalk at the right places u don't need hooks or string, the branch and stalk can be ur hooks and all u gotta do is hang up a little line of string or rope .
and what do you tie the string to? the roof? without a hook? hows that pulled off? and im just saying its really not needed. for the first 2 dries i pulled off i put a fan screen on the ground and put the buds on that so theyre sitting on a screen a few inches off ground so full air circulation and works no worse than tying it.
or anyone whose out of weed and not an idiot whose gunna go out and buy weed at street prices when they have jars full at home. and its just another way to dry, just because you dry yours hanging up doesnt meen its the only way, especaily for anyone that has a descent amount of plants that would rather take 10 minutes putting their buds on a screen instead 3 hours of tying and hanging string to get the same end result
