I am seeking some sativa assistance!
I've got one sativa plant at day 79. It's really sativa dominant and I'm thinking its a long finisher, im currently in week 12 and I only have maybe 15% reddish hairs. I haven't even started flushing yet either but somehow all of my leaves are yellow despite full strength nutes (Earth Juice Bloom/High P Bat Guano, and occasionally a bit of FF Grow Big for N). I'm thinking Sativa growing is a whole nother realm which I'm not used to yet, and I am wondering if the indicators for harvest are drastically different than for Indica.
How will I know this lovely lady is ready? When looking at the trichs I have a fair deal of milky heads but still a lot of clear as well. I am perplexed as to why my leaves are yellow... I gave it a strong dose of FF Grow Big and ended up with a little bit of nute burn. Actually, some of the leaves are dying now (dried out and shriveled, but not burned). Instinctively it appears to me as though the plant is "done" growing but just when i think that it is, it has a growth spurt! How long can a really sativa dominant plant go for? and when is the harvest window? Currently all I have is a cell phone camera, which makes the plant look completely different when photographed which is why I opted not to include it.
If it helps, some more details are; FFOF soil, 5 CFL's 3 reds 2 blues (they range between 27watt and 150watt) and a 70watt HPS for lights, FF Grow Big for veg/occasional N boost, and Earth Juice bloom and Guano.
