Harvesting and Curing

I am about to harvest some yum yums. How long should I stop feeding for? Is it necessary to flush with a flushing agent or is water good enough? Any good ideas for curing?

Flush with a flushing agent or water for 1-2 weeks before chopping

Hang upside down for a few weeks until the stems snap, then cure them in jars for a few weeks also

so for 2 whole weeks no food? Would Mason jars work good enough? When I am suppose to be flushing is it ok to add a sweetner?

right,,,,u just want to water and around the last week or so give it nothing.....mason jars are fine for curing and for adding stuff, the most i've seen ppl add is molasses....i wouldnt add anything, if u grew it right, it should be good enough

If I just add water does it still have to be ph balanced to 6.0? Can I just use my regular filtered water that is around 7.0 since there is no food?

I have been using tap water with my own custom filter system I built and the ppm reads 280 when it comes out, but the ph is 7ish. . . . .
