As long as it's not at risk from flood, i would leave it. get some green colored stakes and twine and secure it. I lived in florida for many years. it should be alright.

I agree with Korvette, bit of a gamble but worth it imo. I went through the same thing about 9 or 10 years ago in Texas, left my plants and was pleasantly surprised that they all made it. Only thing I can recommend....if you have your plant tied down at all un-do the ties, I did not and a few branches snapped due to the strain.

Ok so if it floods will that effect the Plant? we are suppose to get 6-8 inch of rain today threw tommorow. its got a little bit of cover by plam leaves(they are wide little unbrella like fan leaves) and thick brush around it.

but if it does get More water than Normal all at once will that effect it?

Well I got 16 inches of rain lol! Like most plants weed has some tolerance to over watering but if the water sits on the roots for a week or so straight, ur gonna be in trouble.

You posted you lived in Florida. Here's a few ideas. If you plant in the ground for the spring/summer grow, mound them up a bit. This is not necessary for the fall/winter grow (I luv florida).
If you plant in pots and you live in fla/ georgia, put them in a 3 gallon and place them in the crown of a palmetto bush. Not an isolated palmetto. Sprinkle them in the palmettos about halfway up the bush, like in one of the lower crowns. This also discourages foragers (deer, rabbit, anything) from nipping your precious crop. Palmettos provide good cover and the plants can drain as much water as Florida can throw at them in the summer. Which is A LOT. Hope this helps.

out.

There is a little growler hangin out down by Haiti. Might want to keep an eye on that. I lived in Florida for a long time and I know how those things can turn on a dime. Keep us posted on your grow. peace.
