I have seen this done outdoors with good results but not indoors. I would be interested to see if it impacted yield enough to be worth the electricity.
Good question, but not everybody flushes and if you're growing in soil there's no point to flushing IMO.won't you be flushing the crop then taking the tops and letting the rest grow on water alone or reintroduce nutes again, not sure.
that is what it will come down too. if its 10 percent more that would be over a half a pound extra on my crop. I think that might be worth itI guess the question you'll get to answer hopefully is whether it's worth it to set your next crop a week back for possibly 10% better yields and better looking lower and inner buds. It'll be interesting to see what you think is better.

if its just a week extra to get 10 percent wich would be a half a pound it would be way worth itI wet trim so I dim my lights around day 60 and start going at it starting with the tops.. Because there is quite a bit of work, it takes me awhile to do it anyways. For this reason I harvest tops first . But if your cutting the whole harvest down at once and have another batch ready to go... I think that the little bit of weight you might gain would be lost be the setback of having to wait the extra days.
Yeah and sometimes you don't even need to do that, "If it's yellow, it's mellow" ya know? Ha ha, jk..... kind ofonly thing I flush is the toilet
You might be right, it might be closer to two. I usually cut my plants in 3 cuts. I cut the tops first and then probably about a week later the middle section and then probably close to a week later the bottom 3rd or so. I don't really time when I cut the plant after the first cut so I'm not really sure how long I let it go for, but it probably is close to two weeks for the bottom portion.but something tells me it would be longer than a week. but even 2 weeks for a half a pound. put it this way would you throw plant in right after harvest if you knew you could pull a half pound off it? its only cutting into veg time. theres ways around that.
