I harvest in three stages. Take a few ripe early buds, next trimming take a majority of the stems. Then about a week after that take the last.
8 to 14 foot tall plants harvested at once overwhelms my racks. Then when dry to touch in 70's humidity wise I put them in 3 gallon buckets.
When lower 60's is reached they are put in glass jars.
Then I brush down the buckets for kief, I use seafood bins for processing and they collect kief too.
