Just a little tip -- I had a first harvest a month or so ago. Never understood why people didn't like harvesting -- I thought it must be fun to cut them down. And it is. But trimming is a fucking nightmare! I had only two smallish plants (yield 3oz dry bud each), and each one took about 6 hours to trim. I was pretty meticulous, so I understand it. But it was exhausting. Took me from 10pm to 4am for one plant, and 2pm to about 8pm for the other.
You do want spring-loaded scissors like the Fiskers. You also want something called Sap Off Soap (SOS) -- if you're ordering from HTG, it's there. It's a creamy gritty scrub that takes off resin. You'll find after trimming a plant that the resin will gum up the scissors. Just scrub the blades with the SOS, and they'll be clean and work smoothly again.
Works on hands, too. You just need a small bottle of it -- a little goes a long way.
