Hello all,
A little info about my grow. Running a dual spec. 1000W HPS and a 400WMH. I have 4 JackBerry plants. Started from a clone. They are at the end of week 8 into flower. Day 60 to be exact. Im choppin one of them tonight before the lights come on. I'm chopping another a day later. As for the other two I was going to let one sit in 48 hours of dark instead of 12 like the other two and then harvest. The last one I'm going to let sit in 72 hours of dark before harvest. People I've talked to all said "You can do that, but isnt neccessary". Let me add I havn't gave them any nutes for 2 weeks and 1 day. All the trichs on the actual bud are a milky color and the trichs on the sugar leafs are a milky color with 20 percent being an amber color. Ive had multiple people insist that I need to let them sit in darkness for 48-72 hours. My question is WHY? What could this possibly do for my plant giving them an extra 36-48 hours of darkness (they will already get 12 before harvest) The way I see it is it took these plants 2 months to ripen what the hell is an extra 2 days of DARK going to do for my plant? Please provide some insight and facts. Has it been proven that this method will enhance the bud... If so will someone please provide a link because I cant find any evidence. anywhere. Other than that go ahead and provide some insight. If you guys wont some pics I will be posting some later this evening. It's 2PMEST right now, Ill have some up for ya at 1AMEST.
