Has any here tried "Moon Phase Pruning"?

Don't use plant matter - taste like shit. Friend did wine - nasty stuff

Good to know thanks! I mostly just want the terpenes from the cannabis, I could always add concentrated thc later in the process.
I know there are some hops that mimic the smell a little bit, which ones though I have no clue.
Looks like I will have a lot of research on trial and error ahead of me.
Funny though cause my wife was saying yesterday, "why don't you make wine, I don't like beer, boo hoo bla bla bla".
So, I may be doing a batch of wine as well, she just wants the wine and could care less if it has anything to do with cannabis.
I will leave it out of the wine, at least if my beer goes bad, I can drink her wine :)

Hops are in the direct Cannabis family. You can graft cannabis to hops plants and it grows! All hops smell like bud - when fresh, like crazy! Your right though, some more then others..... Cascades are a type that is that way. there are many strains of Hops and beer makers use their own mix's to reach what they look for...

I love IPA's from Europe! Many craft brewers here, have taken the use of hops way to far in their IPA's - in my book....
While fruit in beer is mostly gross to me. Especially in Wheat beers (I want to taste the malted grains more). I have my few that are supreme beers in that sense! Linenkugle Summer Shanty (the first maker of lemon shanties) and Perrin's Grapefruit and Raspberry IPA's are simply awesome. Have to include the original "fruit" beer too - Belgian - Framboise Lambec! This wonderful raspberry beer is yeasted by it being left with the fermentation vat lids being left open for 48 hrs in the basement, with the windows open and then sealed. That allows the natural yeast's that are floating about in the air to settle in the wort and begin fermentation...

Damn I guess there is some weight to it. Once I switch back to outdoor/soil growing from indoor/dwc, I will do a more scientific approach on a couple like you said.
Do a few of control ones and a few phase ones and collect some data. Great post thanks!
Indeed as I mentioned "I do most other stuff with the moon!

which to me is germing

using this gravitational stuff to your advantage

at the most important time 'seed starting'

for example (tried&tested)

25th May is New Moon (check calendar first ..lol)

scarify and soak you seeds 2 days before that date

a day later the tails show...another day to get that inch or two of the radicle

so on the 25th the new moon transplant to ur prepped medium

the deal being as the new moon 'hits' the effects strike directly on the roots of the germers

germination in my case and then the seedling growth is very fast

good luck
