Unless you are growing like 50+ plants at a time, a quart will do you....I used less than a half quart in one grow....20 medium size girls. Then also buy a quart of Venerate and you won't have to worry about bugs either!! Watch some of Marrones videos...It's widely used in vegetable production these days.It better be that good for that price lol View attachment 4582484
Done or constantly applying that shit?Yeah, get some Regalia and you'll be soon done with it!
Why is it shit? Because you don't know about it, or just you don't like it? Have you even researched it?Done or constantly applying that shit?
Because you have to keep applying it. It might get you to finish a crop but after that you should get rid of the problem once and for all.Why is it shit?
spray more than once a week for a couple weeks and spray a bunch use like a half gallon per 4x4Hey all, I've been having ongoing issues with powdery mildew for months now and can't figure out how to stop it.
My basement is old (more like a cellar) with water channels built into it to carry water to the sump hole. As a result there's often small pools of standing water around that I believe are a breeding ground for pm and other bad stuff.
Despite the roughness of the basement temps are humidity are pretty stable. Generally 45-55% humidity and around 72-76f temps. I also installed a cold air return down there so fresh air is constantly brought in and old air moved out.
Since the PM showed up one day I've tried many of the solutions recommended online. Sulfur spray, h2o2 and neem had seemingly no effect.
Potassium bicarbonate (mixed with veg oil and dish soap) worked OK, but the pm would come back in 5-9 days.
Lately I've been making lactobacillus serum and spraying weekly with that. I didn't see ANY pm for a few weeks so I assumed it was working and decided I would just spray it weekly as a preventative, but last night more pm showed up 6 days after spraying.
I'm at my wits end and considering just shutting down at this house. I could have lived with spraying every plant weekly, but every 5 days or less is just going to be too much.
Has anyone here actually defeated powdery mildew? Any suggestions or insight would be greatly appreciated!
Also if there are any good scientific resources on PM eradication that someone could point me to that would be great as well.
Thanks!
Yea see my grow is in a house and I'd never use a sulfer burner in here, but I did get rid of pm without a sulfer burn. My conditions haven't even been ideal...My RH is running about 50% in the flower room it's been so humid here, and that's with a dehumidifier running 24/7. But there is absolutely no sign of any pm....harvesting now. 6 different strains. All beautiful !!It's only translaminar (not systemic) meaning if sprayed on top of the leaf it will protect the underside but NOT areas that weren't sprayed. I did read about it.
But hey if it works for you great. I just run a sulfur vape in my flowering rooms when they are empty and in my veg room every 6 months or so as a preventative and I never have PM. I have had PM and the sulfur vape is the only thing that can really clean a room from top to bottom and really end the struggle.
I won't start a new grow room until it's been vaped.
How muchi struggled with pm for years in my 100+ basement, and my humidity/temp are always good...haven’t seen it since I installed a couple of these units into my hvac..Air Sniper | The Most Advanced Supplemental Air Sanitization Solutions

Not true...I only used it twice in flower, at week 2 and week 4, and I'm in week 9 now. Next grow I'll probably skip it all together in flower, becaues I really don't like putting anything on flowers even if it is organic.Well stay vigilant and don't miss any spraying. The PM will always be there waiting for you to miss an application.
